tasks-sync is a personal command-line tool that keeps a local task database on the user's own computer in step with that user's Google Tasks lists. It is built for automation: scripts and AI assistants running on the user's machine read and edit tasks through the tool, while the user keeps using the Google Tasks web and mobile apps.
The tool runs only on the user's own machine. It signs in to Google with the user's permission, reads and writes the user's Google Tasks, and reads the user's account identifier and email address to make sure the local database belongs to that account. It has no server and sends no data anywhere other than Google.
The source code lives in the cmd/tasks-sync directory of a private Go repository.
